Overlook Auxiliary Giving Impact: 2025-2026
Thanks to the generosity of our members, donors, community partners, and volunteers, the Overlook Auxiliary provided more than $156,000 in support to Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center and the communities it serves during Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
Our contributions included:
$95,169 in grants and department wishes supporting patient care, nursing education, Child Life, Elder Life, HealthStart, Behavioral Health, Oncology, Mother-Baby, Spiritual Care, and numerous other programs.- $10,000 in nursing scholarships awarded to support the professional development of current and future nurses.
- More than $25,000 in in-kind gifts including Thanksgiving meal support for HealthStart families, patient comfort items, books, blankets, clothing, diapers, bereavement resources, stuffed animals, and other needed supplies.
- Over $11,400 invested in team member appreciation and service projects, recognizing and supporting the dedicated staff of Overlook Medical Center through special events, wellness initiatives, appreciation bags, and volunteer service days.
- More than $6,000 in community gifts and donations, benefiting patients, families, and caregivers through partnerships with local businesses, foundations, schools, and community organizations.
Lives Touched Through Giving
Highlights of the year included:
Funding patient assistance programs at the Stacy Goldstein Breast Center and Carol G. Simon Cancer Center.- Supporting HealthStart families through grants, holiday meal programs, gift cards, diapers, and essential supplies.
- Providing scholarships to nursing students and team members pursuing nursing careers.
- Funding child- and family-centered initiatives through Child Life, including therapeutic toys, stuffed animals, technology, and hospital resources.
- Enhancing patient experiences through arts and healing programs, including support for the Arts & Health Teaching Artist Fellowship Program.
- Supporting Mother-Baby, Elder Life, Behavioral Health, Spiritual Care, Oncology Nutrition, and other programs with equipment, educational resources, murals, comfort items, and patient assistance funds.
- Organizing volunteer-led service projects involving Jr. Twigs, families, and community members in support of patients, families, veterans, and healthcare team members.
These gifts reflect the Overlook Auxiliary’s ongoing commitment to improving the patient experience, supporting caregivers, investing in healthcare education, and strengthening the well-being of our entire hospital community.
