You’re invited to a Service Learning Event centered on women’s health: Friday, April 10, in Bouras Auditorium, 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
Join us for a relaxing afternoon of connection, education, and a hands-on activity creating beautiful watercolor cards inspired by the flowers of Gift Shop & Bloom. The program will feature guest speaker, Dr. Faith Goldman, a board-certified breast surgical oncologist at Atlantic Health. Dr. Goldman will discuss how to take charge of your breast health, from understanding when to get screened, to what’s new and changing in breast imaging, to the support you may not realize is available. This engaging talk will help women feel more informed and confident, while introducing the role of a nurse navigator, which can simplify the process and ease stress every step of the way.
Completed cards will be donated to patients and staff in the Breast Center to brighten their day.
