Art at Overlook

The “Art at Overlook” program highlights the work of local artists within the halls of Overlook Medical Center. Program exhibits rotate every three months, and artists from the local community are invited to participate. All the art displayed is available for sale, with twenty percent of proceeds benefiting the Overlook Medical Center community.

Current Exhibit:
CK Komek

Exhibit Dates:  August 2, 2026 – November 1, 2026

Cabbar Komek “CK” received his formal art and photography training at the New York Institute and at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art where he also received a healthy dose of the Humanities. Those studies were crucial to his understanding of ethical and social frameworks important to his personal and professional development as well as independent thinking. CK is proud that over 700 of his images, art, photographs, and prints are in homes and offices across the country while continuing to evolve and explore depth and emotion in his work. CK keeps abreast of classic and contemporary artists though avoids “trends.” CK is proud however of the influence of his late friend and mentor, the internationally recognized artist Henry Doren.

CK has received numerous awards in arts, photography and from civic organizations for his spirit of volunteerism during his 50+ years as a professional artist and photographer.
